I have been looking for a GPS device for a long time. However, I was looking for a GPS device which is loaded with many features; at least two main features :
a) Large Diaplay Screen
b) Bluetooth Dialing
And above all, not priced high.
I did survey the market and found some options available from Garmin and Blaupaunkt (i hope spelling is correct); but they were too costly. Garmin was in the range of Rs 32000 plus and Blaupaunkt was in the range of Rs 25000.
I came across option from EMBASSY INDIA. It was a unknown name; however, i thought of giving it a try. I called up the company sales guy and bought a GPS device directly from the company at about Rs 15000. (Must be lower now; i bought it 3 months back). This GPS device has good features :
a) Large Display (4.3")
b) Bluetooth
c) Audio Video facility
I think it is a good option compared to other options i mentioned above and from other players like MapmyIndia / SatNav. Note that Embassy India uses SatNav Maps.
Anyone buying GPS device should check out Embassy India GPS devices. It is value for money.
